In GodFinger players take on the role of playing God. The player starts off at level 1, in control of their own planet. There they can enchant followers which brings in money for the player and the owner of the follower enchanted. Players can purchase awe as a paid download. Awe can be used to speed up farming and building and can also be used to purchase items. It also includes the Plus+ network.

In 1.2, buildings are guarenteed to generate one gold stack per charge (as long as your Followers are rested). We’ve also added a bunch of new goals and clamoring for your godly attention.

All this GodFinger 1.2 awesomeness will be hitting the Canadian App Store soon. In a few days, we’ll be submitting the iPad update. Then, it’s only a matter of time before GodFinger is unleashed upon the rest of the globe.

the weirdest thing happened to me, i was texting someone today and when i received the text message a picture, that i had deleted months ago from my photo library, showed up, this makes no sense because i just added the contact a few days ago and there is no possible way they could have this screenshot from my iphone. Does anyone know why this happened?

Some file must of corrupted and something but as long as it doesn't happen again your fine just delete the file fro your iPod core hard drive from SSH that should get rid of it forever like it wasn't even there

This isn’t nearly as exciting as it sounds, Godfinger but Apple has added a “Try Before You Buy” category to the App Store, possibly in attempt to reduce piracy. All the section does is highlight “lite” versions of apps, so there isn’t really anything new.

Godfinger This may be a play to have a more Android-like store, where users are allowed to return apps within a 24 hour window. Of course, this would go against their entire philosophy, so I’d wager that the “Try Before You Buy” section has already reached its final form solely as a place to find free versions of apps.

In the ongoing battle against piracy, developers are willing to try nearly anything to keep their hard-earned money, but will Apple’s solution be effective? Godfinger It’s possible, especially if more developers get onboard with creating lite versions of their applications. We’ll see.

The ultimate goal of the game is to have a really awesome office (and be really rich). You can achieve both goals by earning career points (CP), which you do by completing tasks in real time. Various pieces of office equipment, including computers, telephones, fax machines, and printers, can be used to complete CP-earning tasks.

As each task is completed, you can click on the machine and receive your CP. Beware though—if you take too long to collect your reward, you’ll not only forfeit your reward, but you’ll lose “reputation” points. The more reputation points you have, the more career points you will earn when you are away. You can earn those reputation points back by visiting friends (Facebook friends who also play Office Heroes, of course) and helping them with tasks.

Earned CP not only helps you level up (there are 50 levels in total), iphone 4 game it allows you to buy nifty furnishings for your office (such as hot tubs, pool tables, and cool floor tiles). Said nifty furnishings do little except make your office look cool—and, of course, you can then share your cool-looking office with friends via Facebook. You can also buy new looks for your avatar. There’s also another type of currency, paperclips, which can be bought with real money or earned, albeit very slowly. Paperclips can be redeemed for more expensive items or sold for CP.

If you haven't seen one and don't understand quite what the big deal is, consider that the iPhone 4's 960x640 pixel, 3.5 inch retina display is the equivalent of 326ppi - it's said the human eye cannot even distinguish individual pixels at this density. Or to look at it another way, your 24" monitor would need a resolution of approximately 6500x4400 to look as good - well, well, well beyond "Full HD".

If you already have an iPhone 4, there's little doubt you've spent some time looking for games that support this incredible retina display, as have we. And if you have then you'll be excited to discover that ngmoco teamed up with Black & White dev, Wonderland Software, to create this game! It's not entirely dissimilar to Pocket God or We Rule, which you may have played, but it is certainly better. And now it looks absolutely gorgeous, too!

I deleted this and we rule yesterday from my ipod touch 2g. My kingdom and planet got just big enough to crash the game every time.

I wonder if ngmoco just doesn't test their game on old devices anymore..

You left out tossing followers. You can throw them off the ground with a flick, or you can drag them into space and toss them in orbit around your planet. The app even shows you how far you've thrown them compared to other players. Ah, the joys of being a god.

Just tried to install this yesterday... It wouldn't let me sign into my account in the game and just kept telling me that the store couldn't be updated. So, I powered off my phone and powered back on, but it just got stuck on the apple logo.

Thanks, ngmoco. Stupid Godfinger freezing my phone.

With the new version, users will not only gain a brand new user interface, but will be greeted with any number of new features such as creating items at properties, trading between friends, earning collectibles dubbed “Stamps,” new abilities, and 10 new levels. Moreover, check-ins will now have a recharge time, until players reach level 70, when they become unlimited.

One of my favorite launch games for the iPad was ngmoco's GodFinger. I dove into it, checking in multiple times every day to farm gold with my followers and terraform my planet from a dusty space egg into a lush paradise. However, during week two, my GodFinger visits tapered off. The problem was that I was so into GodFinger, I burned through the objectives right away. All I was left with was just maintaining the status quo and pocketing extra gold. Eventually, I reached a point where I had more gold than I knew what to do with and could buy anything I wanted as long as it was within my level range. And then I stopped.

Well, I'm hooked again. Recently, ngmoco updated GodFinger. Actually, it's more of an overhaul. Not only has ngmoco added a host of new objectives, but all-new super followers have jumped into the mix, offering additional avenues for banking serious gold. The GodFinger shop has been updated with a bunch of new buildings and decorations, from colorful trees and planets to new gold farming stractures, like the cool skull-shaped Pirate Cave. The addition of the Movement wonder, which lets you redesign your planet without any penalty is also long overdue.

Admittedly, it didn't take me that long to hammer through a lot of the new objectives, but I was already at level 24 and able to satisfy them through things I had already completed on my planet. Somebody that starts over from scratch will get more out of the update. However, it was cool to log back in after the update and suddenly have a bunch of magical stones from previous level thresholds appear. That gave me plenty to do, as well as well free followers from under rocks with lightning bolts.

GodFinger doesn't feel any harder or easier. It just feels more lived-in. I'm happy to have new reasons to return to this clever little social game as well as the ability to re-recommend it to you.

I have an intel 2006 mac mini that will chime and load the logo, but after that just freezes. So far I've reseated the memory and battery, reset the PRAM and don't know what to do. If I boot it holding control it lets me choose an install dvd, but after that just freezes when it tries to boot.

Can you boot to the install DVD then run Disk Utility? Chances are a reformat and OS install are in your future

Just take it into an Apple store and get it scanned for "free". Easy as that, Then fix it.

When I got it home and hooked it up to my computer, the icons started shaking and the home button stopped working. I never managed to get it to connect to itunes and whenever I try it either says "Itunes can't connect due to an error" or "Itunes can't connect because of an invalid response".

I'm not that tech savvy, just want to get phone working. I tried the manual thing where I press both buttons simultaneously, also tried the thing where I press them alternately. Neither worked. Not convinced button is broken, but would be fine with using a home button app. Really more concerned with how to get the thing connected to itunes and working. Thanks.)

i've been on the "priority list" at the apple store for 12 days now, but still no phone.
and no one at the apple store will even give me an estimate as to how long they think it will be.

my local radio shack says they will call me when they get one in and hold it for me for 30 minute.
(very surprisingly they actually called me last weekend and told me they had a phone for me, but i was out of town for the holiday weekend).

the at&t stores i've stopped into dont seem to think they will be getting any more until the end of the month.

the apple stores tell me they are getting shipments almost daily, but they all go to the people on the "priority list", so it's not even possible to wait for one, etc.

ordering online says it will take 7-10 days.
i KNOW that the minute i order one online, that i will be contacted by the apple store or radioshack to tell me they have a phone for me.

Anybody else having trouble with the latest version of the browser? I love the Reader, but I find pages are taking longer to load (contrary to Apple's claim that it is faster) and often get the beach ball and occasional crashes or force quit.

I have a brand new new Macbook Pro, so my hardware is not an issue.

I did an automatic update and now I have all kinds of issues wrong with my Mac. It says I have Safari 5 when I try to reinstall 4 but 5 is not there on my Mac.

It looks like my FP disappeared when I downloaded Safari5.
I just downloaded a fresh FP and life is much better.
